Support:Need Help?1. What should I bring on my trip? What should I bring on my trip? Warm weather clothes. Both Upper Captiva and Cat Island are very laid back. No need for your business suit here. Bring a sweater if you are traveling in the winter as the nights can be cool. However, we do not expect snow at any of our locations! Bring plenty of sunscreen! What's the weather like? Is it always sunny? The majority of the time it is sunny on Upper Captiva and Cat Island. We do have our rainy season though from About mid August through November. That doesn't mean rain all day long though. We get a shower in the afternoon and then everything's back to normal. Are there amusement parks for the kids? No. These locations are remote and peaceful. The amusement parks in the area are the beach and the water, the wildlife and riding around in the golf cart (Upper Captiva). (Back to Top)
